BOOKING FEE
- Commissions are on a first come first served basis. Please state on the booking form when the drawing is required by.
- A non refundable booking fee of 25% is required to secure your animal portrait. This fee confirms your place in my schedule and covers initial administration and planning time.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
- 25% non refundable booking fee to secure your commission.
- 25% due 2 - 3 weeks prior to the scheduled start date (a reminder will be emailed).
- Remaining 50% and any additional extras you have requested ie frame due upon completion of the artwork (a reminder will be emailed).
- No commissions will be started or posted without having first received payment.
- Final payment is expected no later than 1 month after you have been emailed to say your artwork has been completed unless you notify prior of any mitigating circumstance which may delay the payment. I will send 2 reminder emails should I not have received any acknowledgment regarding the final payment. After the month, should I not have heard back from you, your artwork will be considered abandoned and will be offered for public sale and prints made. No money will be refunded.
- All payment to be sent via BACS, details will be forwarded as and when required with receipt issued.
DRAWING PROCESS
- At present I'm allowing roughly 2 weeks from start to finish of the drawing. Please look out for email updates, especially towards the end of the 2 weeks for notification of the final payment.
- Two progress updates will be provided to ensure you as the client are happy throughout. Should any alterations be required they need to be specified whilst the drawing is being completed.
- All updates will have Nadine Carey Art across the image.
- Progress images and completed drawings will be shared on my social media platforms and for portfolio purposes. If the commission is intended as a gift please let me know in advance so posting on social media can be delayed. In this instance the drawing will be posted online once the gift has been received.
COMPLETION & DELIVERY
- All artwork will be presented within a mount ( and frame if requested) and securely packaged
- Completed artwork will not be posted or delivered until full payment has been received.
PAYMENT FLEXIBILITY
- If you would prefer to pay in instalments or need to defer the final payment please let me know in advance . I am happy to discuss a plan if possible however you will not receive your artwork until I have received payment in full
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Should you wish to cancel your commission please take note of the following
- More than 14 days before the scheduled start date : Any payments made beyond the 25% non refundable booking fee will be fully refunded.
- 7-14 days before the scheduled start date : A partial refund will be issued at my discretion.
- Less than 7 days before scheduled start date : Payments are non refundable due to the short notice and loss of booking opportunity.
- After work has begun : All payments are non refundable, as time and materials will have already been committed.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Please ensure you respond to payment reminders and messages in a timely manner to avoid delays to you commission.
By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
Clear communication is encouraged should circumstances change. I will always aim to be fair and reasonable where possible.
