I’m Nadine, a Somerset based artist specialising in animal portraits in various mediums.
My qualifications include Art & Design ‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels, a HND in graphic design and a BEd in art.
For many years my career took a very different path. I'm so glad to have found art again; to see the joy my art brings others.
I mainly focus on animal portraits, whether the portrait is for a loved one or a memorial piece , each drawing I produce is given the same amount of love.
I believe that it's all in the detail and I aim to capture the characteristics and personality of the subject. My aim is to evoke a positive reaction by the recipient.
I use different mediums, such as lightfast coloured pencils,pastel pencils, pan and soft pastels plus graphite pencil. I will only use high quality materials.
The most popular size drawing is generally produced on A4 size paper but I can accommodate any size, just specify the size required upon contact. All finished commissions are mounted in a mountboard frame.
I also paint in acrylics on canvas , size of your choosing or in watercolour paints on high grade acid free watercolour paper
Should you fancy something abstract in acrylic paint and mixed media I will do my best to accommodate you. This tryptic using acrylics, spray paints and oil pastels was painted during an art course using Steam Punk as a reference
