About Nadine

I'm Nadine, a Somerset based professional artist specialising in hyperrealist animal portraits, hand-drawn in pastel and coloured pencil.

Having gained 'O' and 'A' Levels in Art and Design, a HND in Graphic Design and a BEd in Art I ended up pursuing a different career but I'm delighted to be creating art again; doing something I truly love and in turn bringing a little joy to others along the way. Growing up with animals I understand just how much they become part of our lives.

Working from your favourite photograph, I carefully create each portrait by hand, capturing each animal's unique personality, expression and spirit to create something truly personal. From the finest whisker and individual strands of fur to the delicate details of feathers and the sparkle in their eyes, every element is brought to life with care and precision resulting in a keepsake to enjoy for years to come.

I use high-quality, professional artist-grade materials, choosing lightfast colours to help preserve the beauty of each piece.

Alongside my animal portraits, I also create original watercolour artwork and offer commissioned portraits in graphite pencil and acrylic on canvas
