About Nadine

I'm Nadine, a Somerset based artist specialising in hand drawn, lifelike pastel or coloured pencil animal portraits with a focus on detail and realism.

Using a photograph as  reference each portrait is lovingly hand drawn with care and precision, resulting in life like art work that is both visually stunning and deeply moving.  I bring every whisker, hair, fur, feather  and eyes to life in meticulous detail. 

I believe my portraits are more than just art but heartfelt keepsakes that celebrate that special bond between human and animal.

I hold 'O' and 'A' levels in Art and Design , a HND in Graphic Design and a BEd in Art. After years in a different career I'm thrilled to be creating art again - art I love and hope brings you joy.

Having grown up with animals I understand that deep bond we share with them. I love to capture the  personality, emotion and spirit of each animal , whether it is for a gift , memorial or just a personal keepsake.

Commissions are currently based on a first come first served basis however I will do my best to accommodate should you require a portrait by a specific time. 

I offer various sized portraits as shown on my Price list however if you'd like a larger drawing than listed please state upon booking.
